Tesco Online Review

Coming Soon... In Depth Review, Opinions and Experiences of Tesco.com.

Tesco.com offers a way of shopping with Tesco through the Internet. This review will deal only with the experience of online shopping with Tesco, not with how it compares to other supermarkets or stores.

Summary of The Process

To start with, you register with the service by providing your address and contact details. Then you are free to shop. You add items to a basket as you browse through the 'digital supermarket'. If it turns out an item you requested is unavailable, you can choose for your personal shopper to substitute this with something similar.

You can then pay by credit card (which you can choose for the site to remember or not). There is a charge of between £4 and £6, depending on the delivery time, as a fee for delivery. Your shopper goes around the shop for you, and only when they have all the items ready is your card charged.

Your shopping is then delivered within your specified 2 hour slot (options are 9am-11am Mon to Fri, 9am-8pm Sat, and 11am-4pm Sun). You can then go over the list of items with the delivery person and see if anything was unavailable. If you are unhappy with any substitutions then you can send them back with the driver and they will refund your money for those items.
